  • Plan, coordinate and test upgrades for enterprise applications, ensuring systems operate correctly in current and future environments
  • Work closely with business owners to understand business needs, manage expectations, and identify improvement opportunities
  • Establish relationships with various teams to troubleshoot issues and develop long-term solutions effectively

  • Deploy and manage AIOps monitoring for predictive detection, automated anomaly identification, and AI-driven incident response
  • Architect technical strategy for critical applications - from roadmap definition through deployment - often in ambiguous problem spaces
  • Lead problem-solving across the team and adjacent teams, facilitating high-stakes incident response and architectural review sessions
  • Mentor IT Applications Specialists through knowledge transfer, cross-training, and centralized knowledge management
  • Create and maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and knowledge base content, leveraging AI for drafting and knowledge retrieval
  • Provide advice and recommendations to management regarding AI adoption, technology directions, and security policy
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotating schedule
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Required proficiency using AI to write code with a production portfolio; preferred certifications include Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Google AI Professional, AWS, Linux+, or AIOps platform certifications.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in technical, functional, and system support of IT applications, cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), and advanced OS installation/troubleshooting (ChromeOS, Windows, Linux).
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered automation in production environments, with a preferred background in designing AI agent architectures and governance frameworks.
