JOB TITLE: Resident Assistant

STATUS: Full Time PM and NIGHT Shift Available

RESIDENT ASSISTANT SHIFT HOURS:

  • PM SHIFT: 2:15PM - 10:30PM
  • NIGHT SHIFT: 10:15PM - 6:30AM

RESIDENT ASSISTANT BASE WAGE: $17.85-$18.85 per hour, plus:

  • PM SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $0.75 per hour
  • NIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $1.50 per hour
  • WEEKEND SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $2.00 per hour

RESIDENT ASSISTANT ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Resident Assistant will perform and document resident cares and services according to ISP (Plan of Care) per policies
  • Report changes of conditions and variations of resident care to DON (Director of Nursing) 
  • Resident Assistant should respond promptly to all emergency response calls and take appropriate action
  • Facilitate activities on the weekends and in the evenings as required
  • Serve meals/feed residents during mealtimes as required
  • Perform cleaning and laundry duties as necessary
  • Fill in for open shifts as necessary
  • Resident Assistant will perform and document vital sign monitoring per ISP (Plan of Care)
  • Answer and respond to all resident calls/alarms
  • Resident Assistant will perform and document medication reminders or management per resident ISP (Plan of Care) and current training and delegations (Oral, Nasal, Topical, Transdermal, Ophthalmic, Vaginal, Rectal, Subcutaneous, etc.)
