Responsibilities

  • Ensure Proper trucks are parked in the designated area
  • Maintain cleanliness of trucks, wash bay, and surrounding yard areas, including vacuuming interiors, cleaning windows and consoles, operating cleaning equipment, and properly storing supplies
  • Monitor and report equipment malfunctions
  • Support fuel island operations, including fueling, DEF level checks and refills, troubleshooting fuel codes, unloading fuel products to storage tanks, and assisting with tank setup.
  • Ensure trucks are properly parked and required inspections are completed
  • Operate light and heavy equipment, hand tools, and power tools to complete assigned tasks
  • Perform manual labor as required
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and attend required safety meetings
  • Maintain effective communication and cooperation with branch and corporate personnel
  • Maintain yard cleanliness and organization
  • Assist with inventory verification of trucks and yard equipment
  • Conduct basic inspections of company equipment and report issues
  • Assist with training drivers and contractors on proper loading and unloading procedures at the yard
  • Monitor operations of cleaning machines and stop machines or notify supervisors when malfunctions occur
  • Use materials such as water, cleaning agents, brushes, and cloths
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor; or manager
  • Other related tasks as assigned by manager

Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • Reside withing reasonable commuting distance
  • Dependable attendance with no unauthorized absences
  • Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
  • Valid class C driver's license
  • Able to pass a DOT physical or "Fit for Duty" physical exam
  • Must satisfactorily pass a drug and background check
  • Able to pass a driving test hauling a utility trailer
  • Able to operate pressure washer and vacuums
  • Ability to resolve issues quickly
  • Ability to work a variety of hours, overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to exert 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantly
  • Ability to bend, sit, squat, stand, crawl, walk and reach above shoulder
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers and customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work with hands and arms for long periods of time

Preferred

  • Strong knowledge of fuel delivery equipment (trucks, pumps, etc.)
  • Experience working in a similar job
  • Experience operating power and manual tools and light and heavy equipment
  • Experience working outside in various weather conditions
