We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Wash Bay Fuel Island Attendant to support daily fleet operations by maintaining clean, organized, and efficient yard operations. This role is responsible for supporting fueling activities, truck and equipment cleanliness, yard organization, and general fleet support.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure trucks are parked in designated areas and properly positioned for operations.
  • Support fuel island operations, including fueling trucks, checking and refilling DEF levels, troubleshooting fuel codes, and assisting with fuel-related tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of trucks, wash bay areas, and surrounding yard spaces.
  • Clean truck interiors, including vacuuming, windows, consoles, and other assigned areas.
  • Operate pressure washers, vacuums, cleaning equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
  • Perform basic inspections of company vehicles and yard equipment and communicate issues as needed.
  • Assist with inventory verification of trucks, equipment, and yard assets.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized yard environment.
  • Support driver and contractor training related to proper loading and unloading procedures.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and required safety practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Class C driver's license.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical or fit-for-duty physical examination.
  • Ability to successfully complete a drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to pass a driving test while hauling a utility trailer.
  • Ability to operate pressure washers, vacuums, and basic equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting, bending, standing, walking, squatting, reaching, and working with hands for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and exert up to 50-100 pounds of force.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in fleet, transportation, fuel, or similar operations.
  • Knowledge of fuel delivery equipment, trucks, pumps, and related systems.
  • Experience operating power tools, manual tools, and light/heavy equipment.
  • Previous experience in a wash bay, yard operations, or similar role.
  • Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
