Metal Building Erector - Crew Member

Location: Columbus, TX and surrounding areas
Employment Type: Full-Time

About Us

Muleshoe Buildings, LLC designs and erects high-quality pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMBs) across Texas. We’re growing fast and looking for dependable, safety-minded team members who want to build a long-term career — not just punch the clock.

Position Overview

We’re hiring Metal Building Erectors to join our field crew. You’ll work hands-on with steel framing, roof and wall sheeting, and other building components under the direction of an experienced Foreman. If you’ve got construction experience (PEMB experience preferred), take pride in your work, and show up ready every day, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with the assembly and erection of steel building frames, roof systems, and wall panels

  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely

  • Follow the Foreman’s instructions and company safety policies

  • Work steadily and efficiently from start to finish each day

  • Keep the jobsite organized and clean

  • Support the crew in hitting project milestones and deadlines

What We’re Looking For

  • Construction experience required (PEMB experience a plus)

  • A steady, dependable work ethic — shows up on time, every day, ready to work

  • Willingness to follow instructions and respect the chain of command

  • Attention to detail for quality and safety

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive pay based on experience

  • Room for growth — advance to lead erector, assistant foreman, or foreman over time

  • Steady work with a growing company

  • Training and mentorship from experienced steel building professionals

  • Be part of a team that takes pride in craftsmanship and safety
