Job description

The Litigation Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout the litigation process, from case initiation through trial. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in federal and state court procedures, trial preparation, and coordinating complex litigation matters.

This position is not remote; however, eligibility for a hybrid schedule may be considered after completion of the initial training period.

Compensation:

$90,000 - $105,000 yearly


Responsibilities:

Case & Litigation Support

  • Draft, file, and manage pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state court rules and procedures
  • Perform cite-checking, fact verification, and proofreading of legal documents

Case Management & Organization

  • Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines
  • Track document productions and manage exchanges with opposing counsel and expert witnesses
  • Organize and manage complex case records

Trial & Deposition Support

  • Prepare exhibits and evidence for depositions and trial
  • Support attorneys during trial, including onsite coordination

Collaboration & Communication

  • Coordinate with clients, experts, witnesses, and court personnel
  • Assist with case strategy preparation and logistics, including investigating, locating, analyzing, summarizing, and tracking facts, evidence, and other data using online resources, such as Pacer state court dockets, search engines, social media, LexisNexis, etc.

Qualifications:
  • 5-7+ years of paralegal experience in complex civil litigation
  • Strong experience supporting both federal and state court litigation
  • Deep knowledge of Colorado court rules, procedures, and filing requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Outstanding technology aptitude and literacy
  • Experience with legal research tools, eDiscovery platforms, and document management systems
