Job Summary
The In-Room-Dining Manager position is responsible for the daily operations in Room Service. Position directs, trains and assists colleagues to follow standards in the delivery of food and beverage to guestrooms and Private Homes. They will work closely with the Culinary and Beverage teams to ensure One&Only service standards exceed the experience of the guest. They will strive to continually improve guest and colleague satisfaction and maximize financial performance in areas of responsibility. They will work with the FB Leadership team to establish training and implementing plans that will help the team exceed the departmental goals like LQA/Forbes Scores, meeting budget and ensure good working environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
โ€ข Supervises, trains, directs, develops and manages colleagues
โ€ข Manages all day-to-day operations within the In Room Dining operation to ensure service standards exceed the experience of the guest
โ€ข Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of room service orders.
โ€ข Review payroll, manage schedules, maintain labor costs, and adapt operations based on guest needs and trends
โ€ข Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and other regulatory Food and Beverage items to include Tips and Service Charges
โ€ข Monitor and control inventory, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
โ€ข Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food within In Room Dining
โ€ข Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members.
โ€ข Creates total awareness of in-house VIPs and reviews names with staff members during pre-service meetings.
โ€ข To assist with any other duties that are required by the member of the management team.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
โ€ข At least 2 years' experience at a similar level.
โ€ข Excellent Communication skills
โ€ข Minimum 3 years' experience in a restaurant or hotel operation with recognized high standards.
โ€ข Experience in 5*, an upmarket resort would be an advantage but not a requirement.

Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job in a safe manner, with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and bending in an operational environment for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and pulling
  • Lifting and carrying of loads weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Working in outdoor environments, including high altitudes, that may present extreme weather conditions such as snow, ice, rain, heat, wind, etc.
