We are seeking a PCB Designer to develop and document printed circuit board layouts for electronic products. The ideal candidate will work closely with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to create high-quality PCB designs that meet performance, manufacturability, and reliability requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design multilayer PCB layouts for analog, digital, mixed-signal, RF, and power applications.
- Perform component placement, routing, stack-up design, and layout optimization.
- Generate fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing documentation (Gerbers, BOMs, drawings).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet electrical and mechanical requirements.
- Maintain PCB libraries, component footprints, and design standards.
- Support prototype builds and design revisions.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of PCB layout and design experience.
- Proficiency with one or more of the following:
- Altium Designer
- Cadence Allegro / OrCAD
- Mentor Graphics / PADS
- KiCad
- Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of multilayer PCB design, signal integrity, EMC/EMI, and PCB manufacturing processes.
Preferred: Experience with IPC standards, high-speed PCB design, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
