Job Title- Remote Senior Specialist, PCB Designer
Pay Rate $75/hr on w2
Duration- 12 Months (Temp to Perm)

[About the Role]
Join our innovative team as a Remote Senior Specialist, PCB Designer, where you’ll drive the design and development of complex printed circuit board (PCB) layouts for next-generation circuit card assemblies. Located in Salt Lake City, UT, or available remotely, this contractor position offers a unique 9/80 schedule (9-hour days, every other Friday off) promoting work-life balance. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to bring high-reliability electronic solutions to life.
[Responsibilities]
- Design and place critical components on PCB layouts based on engineering requirements
- Route metal traces, ensuring optimal electrical and physical specifications
- Generate accurate PCB and CCA drawings to support fabrication and assembly processes
- Conduct milestone reviews with stakeholders and release final documentation
- Revise and rework PCB designs in response to engineering changes and feedback
- Create and maintain ECAD library footprints and schematic symbols for design projects
- Update drawings and technical documentation as directed by engineering change requests
- Provide innovative solutions and technical input to resolve design challenges
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of PCB design experience, or
- Graduate degree with 4+ years of related experience, or
- Minimum of 10 years of PCB design experience in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency with ECAD software applications
- Strong understanding of PCB design technologies, layout techniques, electrical schematics, and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to deliver manufacturable designs in a fast-paced environment
[Preferred Skills]
- Experience with Siemens Xpedition software
- Knowledge of industry standards: IPC (e.g., IPC-2221, IPC-2222, IPC-6012, IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610), ASME/ANSI
- Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- IT experience supporting ECAD tool management and maintenance
- IPC CID certification or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
