D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Investor Relations Manager. The right candidate will report to the Vice President of Investor Relations (VP - IR) and is responsible for assisting the SVP, Head of IR and VP - IR with the execution of the company's Investor Relations program and communications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Understand Regulation Fair Disclosure
  • Assist with and complete reference documents and presentations in preparation for the company's quarterly earnings calls and financial reporting and communicate key findings and trends to the Investor Relations team
  • Manage and refresh the company's Investor Relations website through communications with third-party vendor
  • Regularly track/log investor interactions, including calls, meetings, conferences, and other engagements, within the Company's third-party database
  • Prepare presentations, analyses, and create and maintain spreadsheets/reports in response to investor, analyst, and management requests/needs
  • Conduct peer analysis by researching other public homebuilders and monitoring SEC filings and earnings calls to alert the rest of the Investor Relations team of any significant announcements, results or changes
  • Participate in investor/analyst calls
  • Assist with and execute the collection, analysis, and presentation of feedback of investors' perceptions and opinions, brokerage security analysts' positions and summaries, relative stock price movements, and periodic ownership analysis
  • Assist with the selection, education, tasking and supervision of outside consultants and service providers for IR
  • Manage calendar and appointments, including meetings, conference calls and conference room arrangements
  • Coordinate conference registrations and attend/participate in select conferences
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, including accounting, finance, SEC counsel and senior management
  • Complete and submit surveys, such as local business journal requests
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  • Ability to travel overnight

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business or a related field
  • Two to five years of related experience
  • Exercise discretion when working with confidential information concerning the company, executive management and employees
  • Ability to be an efficient and resourceful team player and individual contributor
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
  • Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
  • The noise level is generally moderate

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional experience in public accounting preferred (or similar finance experience)
  • CPA (or CPA exam eligible) preferred
