We are currently seeking a Project Manager to communicate and coordinate with community utility providers, homeowners, builders, developers, and work crews. This role will support field operations by tracking and scheduling projects, maintaining records, and notifying customers.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Build positive professional relationships with each crew, customer, and Washington Gas.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Assist in training team members to use office systems and reports.
  • Download released work from various Washington Gas systems per timelines specified in SOP.
  • Ensure that communications with Washington Gas Customers are documented as required.
  • Refer any technical questions to field operations personnel and follow up to ensure questions are answered sufficiently.
  • Facilitate the resolution of any customer complaints.
  • Ensure utility locates and all permits remain valid as required to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure job packages released to construction crews contain all required information and all information is up to date and valid.
  • Ensure all reports required by Washington Gas are updated timely as required.
  • Ensure project close out documentation and processes for completed work are performed according to SOP and communicated to Washington Gas Project Manager and Team Leads as required.
  • Interface with Washington Gas Project Manager to ensure accurate and timely exchange of Project Information.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current and valid driver's license.
  • 1+ year professional work experience.
  • Clear, tactful written and oral communication. Focus on internal and external customer service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical or post-secondary education in a related field.
  • 6+ months' utility work project management and/or familiarity with utility construction work.
  • Project Management background.

Pay Rate: $90k - $100k/yr.
