As a member on the Client Services team, you'll play a pivotal role by partnering with the Financial Planner providing a high level of customer service to our clients.
We are looking for someone with financial services experience to help us deliver outstanding service by building and encouraging the client relationship, as well as performing all related administrative functions. If you have outstanding client service and communication skills, with a good understanding of finance, this is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate client meetings, including greeting clients, appointment preparation, and supporting the completion of required paperwork.
  • Supervise client account activity, researching and resolving issues.
  • Prepare and review all new account paperwork to ensure documents are complete and in good order.
  • Verify accounts are traded into the accurate model and aid operation teams as needed; supervise incoming rollovers, other investment funding, and transfers to ensure that all applicable accounts moved.
  • Document key client achievements and other relevant data into systems that will assist in future client interactions.
  • Maintain risk awareness and compliance; identify problems in a timely manner while aligning with standard resolution policy, the established corporate process, and regulatory procedures.
  • Support the firm's initiatives, assist with any company-wide projects and activities, and attend functions as needed.
  • Participation in projects, task forces, councils, and product rollouts to ensure CSA voice is represented.

Requirements:
  • Two years of relevant experience (Registered Investment Advisor or Broker/Dealer) is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of finance and investment markets/securities
  • Critical thinking, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills required.
  • Able to adapt to changes in the work environment, handle challenging demands and work with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Position requires a high level of confidentiality.

Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $54,000 - $65,000. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible for an annual target cash bonus. This role also offers the ability to earn additional cash bonuses for your contributions throughout the year. These bonuses reward you for helping introduce new clients to the firm, supporting strong client relationships, and contributing to your team's growth and performance. Collectively, all of the bonuses are a meaningful portion of the total cash opportunity for this role. Bonus amounts are determined by your individual contributions, your team's results, and, in some cases, the revenue your team generates. Details about how these additional bonus opportunities work will be shared during the interview process and after hire.
