Trading/Operations Associate

Tributary Capital Management is a SEC Registered Investment Adviser headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of FNBO. Tributary provides equity investment management services to institutions, individuals, and investment companies and manages over $4 billion in multiple equity strategies. The Trading/Operations Associate is responsible for supporting the operations team within Tributary Capital Management including equity trading and systems work. Primary duties include implementation of Portfolio Manager directed equity trades in client accounts, as well as investing or raising funds as needed to satisfy individual client needs.

Trading

Provide timely and accurate equity trading for Tributary client accounts across various platforms utilizing Advent's Moxy Trade Order Management System and various client directed trading platforms.

  • Implement Portfolio Manager instructions in client accounts.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Maintain required documentation.
  • Work across various custodians to ensure accurate settlement.
  • Maintain client account information in Advent APX
Operations Support
  • Vote and document client proxies.
  • Provide trading support including resolution of settlement issues, maintaining required trade documentation and set-up of new trading relationships.
  • Complete recurring monthly and/or quarterly tasks for Tributary's reporting and reconciliation processes.
The Ideal Candidate for This Role Minimum Requirements for this Position
  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year of experience in the investment or financial services industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products with an emphasis on Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong time management skills
  • This is an on-site position located in the First National Tower in downtown Omaha
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Related Field
  • 3 - 4 years' experience in the investment or financial services industry
  • Prior trading experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access or SQL
  • Experience with Advent APX and Moxy
  • Experience with Fidelity Wealthscape, Schwab Advisor Center, APL, Vestmark or similar
  • Knowledge of Regulatory and Compliance issues pertaining to brokerage and investment management industry

Compensation range (base pay): $47,613.00-$78,560.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
