Perspective Wealth Advisors is an untraditional financial planning firm specializing in clients with complex situations—entrepreneurs and executives with equity. We are seeking an Investment Operations Director to sit at the intersection of investment operations and portfolio management, owning and scaling the firm’s operational infrastructure while actively participating in investment processes.
This role is responsible for overseeing trading operations, portfolio implementation, and operational workflows while contributing to portfolio strategy, tax-aware planning, and investment committee discussions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and growth-minded, with the ability to move fluidly between operational execution and investment thinking in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Minimum Requirements
· 3–7 years of experience in an RIA, asset management firm, or similar investment environment
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Must reside in Colorado (Hybrid or in-office)
Preferred Skills
· Hands-on experience with Schwab Advisor Center and iRebal
· Strong understanding of portfolio construction, rebalancing, and tax-aware strategies
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, logic, data analysis)
· Working knowledge of financial planning concepts and tax strategies (e.g., tax-loss harvesting)
· Series 65 (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
· CFP or CFA (completed or in progress)
Essential Functions and Job Duties
Core Operations Ownership
· Own and improve workflows across Schwab Advisor Center, iRebal, and internal systems
· Manage portfolio onboarding, account transitions, and data integrity across platforms
· Oversee all trading, rebalancing, and reporting to ensure consistency and accuracy
· Identify and solve operational inefficiencies across systems and processes
· Ensure all investment-related operations run efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with firm standards
Investment & Portfolio Implementation
· Execute client-level trades with precision and adherence to compliance guidelines
· Oversee firm-wide portfolio rebalancing aligned with model portfolios, risk parameters, and tax efficiency
· Support model portfolio implementation, maintenance, and updates
· Assist in portfolio construction and Investment Policy Statement (IPS) development
· Partner with advisors to execute portfolio strategy across client accounts
Investment Committee & Strategy Support
· Lead and Participate in Investment Committee meetings and contribute to discussions
· Provide insights on portfolio performance, market trends, and tax cost considerations
· Support investment research and contribute to model recommendations
· Identify tax management opportunities across client portfolios
Operational & Strategic Leadership
· Lead and scale investment operations infrastructure to support firm growth
· Ensure alignment between operational execution and overall investment strategy
· Support transition management, including tax cost estimates and portfolio migration planning
· Oversee reporting processes to maintain high-quality, accurate, and timely outputs
· Act as a key connector between investment strategy, advisors, and operations

Physical Requirements: The physical requirements for this in-person office job include the ability to sit for extended periods, use hands for tasks such as typing, handling documents, and operating office equipment, as well as reach with arms and hands. Clear communication through talking and hearing is essential, and close visual acuity is required for tasks like analyzing data, transcribing, using a computer, reading printed materials.
