Job description

SEI is seeking a Senior Investment Marketing Specialist to join the Asset Management Marketing team. You will be responsible for developing and executing investment product content and sales enablement tools for the North American business that help promote our investment products to financial advisors. Specifically, you will play a key role in bringing our investments to market by creating compelling messaging, analyzing market trends to anticipate client and prospect needs, and collaborating with our sales and investment teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial advisor space, a solid and growing understanding of investment solutions and concepts, and a passion for simplifying complex content.

This role reports to the head of Product Marketing for Asset Management Marketing.

What you will do:

  • Support the development and execution of comprehensive and integrated product marketing strategies that align with business objectives

  • Identify market opportunities and help define the product marketing roadmap

  • Develop and articulate clear, compelling product positioning and thought leadership topics for our investment products, including model portfolios, ETFs, standalone mutual funds, and separately managed accounts (SMAs) across the U.S.

  • Oversee the planning and execution of investment product launches, including sales enablement tools

  • Ensure continuous market growth and transition from awareness to adoption in new market segments

  • Understand financial advisor needs and behaviors to ensure that product positioning aligns with market trends and advisor and investor demands

  • Be a partner to the Sales and Investment product teams, drafting and developing presentations, digital and traditional literature, and sales training materials

  • Help translate and transform sophisticated in-depth investment materials into clear and digestible content that can be shared with advisors and investors

  • Contribute strategic ideas and themes that support the Asset Management Marketing team's initiatives and help drive brand awareness

  • Build strong internal relationships to ensure all internal resources are leveraged and optimized

  • Work with Legal and Compliance to navigate the approval process

  • Track and analyze the performance of product marketing activities

What we need from you:

  • 5-8 years of experience in financial services marketing, preferably with an expertise in marketing investments and/or the financial intermediary business model

  • Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output

  • Proven results collaborating with Product Teams, creating and executing successful product marketing campaigns

  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution

  • Deep project management expertise

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative cross-functional organization

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, English or a related field
