Job description

Position Title: Case Manager
A rapidly growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm is seeking a Case Manager to guide pre-litigation matters from claim opening through the completion of client treatment. This role will coordinate medical care, investigate liability and coverage, obtain records, prepare demand letters, communicate with insurance adjusters, and maintain complete case documentation. The ideal candidate has hands-on pre-litigation personal injury experience, communicates with confidence, and knows how to keep clients, providers, adjusters, and documentation moving forward.
Salary Range: $20-$40 per hour
Case Manager Responsibilities:
  • Open insurance claims for new personal injury matters
  • Coordinate client medical treatment and monitor treatment progress
  • Investigate and resolve liability and insurance coverage issues
  • Request police reports, hospital records, medical records, and supporting documentation
  • Prepare comprehensive demand letters and settlement packages
  • Communicate directly with insurance adjusters, clients, and medical providers
  • Ensure all documents, records, and communications are saved accurately in the case file
  • Manage cases through the completion of client treatment
  • Coordinate with the Case Manager Supervisor and Case Manager Assistant
  • Use automated workflows and AI-supported tools to manage tasks and case documentation
  • Maintain control of a fast-paced caseload without allowing follow-ups or requirements to be missed

Case Manager Requirements:
  • At least three years of plaintiff-side, pre-litigation personal injury experience
  • Direct experience handling motor vehicle accident cases
  • Experience opening claims and coordinating client treatment
  • Strong knowledge of liability, coverage, medical records, and demand preparation
  • Experience communicating and negotiating with insurance adjusters
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Strong client service and professional communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Lawndale
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be considered
  • Experience with Filevine is preferred
