Job description

An inventory clerk tracks the flow of goods in warehouses, retail, lots, or stockrooms by recording, auditing, and organizing stock. Key duties include managing inventory data, processing shipments, and reconciling counts, requiring high attention to detail and physical stamina. Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Control:ย Count, classify, and organize merchandise, ensuring stockroom accuracy.
  • Data Management:ย Perform data entry to update inventory levels, using systems like Excel,ย SAP, or Oracle.
  • Shipment Handling:ย Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments, and prepare items for outgoing orders.
  • Reporting & Auditing:ย Identify discrepancies, such as shortages or damage, and report them to management.
