Position Overview:
The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with operational procedures related to activities such as verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory.
Location: Reno, NV
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1st Shift
Travel Specifics: Approximately 10% travel

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a safe environment for employees and customer products, ensuring compliance with all safety standards, including hazmat handling procedures.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Experience with forklift, reach, and order-selector
  • Inventory Control experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of working knowledge in Workforce Management Systems and RF systems
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including proficiency in performing calculations involving rates, ratios, percentages, basic arithmetic, and interpreting bar graphs for effective problem-solving
  • Oversee daily inventory control processes, including stock level management, cycle counts, and reporting
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory data in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to lead and train inventory control team on best practices and systems usage
  • Experience with barcode scanning, RFID technology, and advanced inventory management software
  • Ability to develop and execute performance metrics to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of inventory control processes
