Job description

The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a 2nd Shift Inventory Control Supervisor to be responsible for overseeing the inventory movement needs in support of multiple ISO class 7 cleanroom locations.

This is a full-time position based out of our Devens, MA location.

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm-2:30am.

How you will thrive and create an impact:

  • Applies sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, coaching and disciplining employees.
  • Maintains and updates inventory records.
  • Conducts any search to locate products within the system and adjusts records when there are discrepancies.
  • Maintains records to accurately track recouped product and return saleable product to stock.
  • Supervises the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reports.
  • Develops all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts including records of all audits, counts and adjustments.
  • Works with Customer Service Representatives and Warehouse Supervisors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience:3+ years related experience; prior experience in a lead or supervisory role desired.
  • Additional Qualifications:
  • Skills in mathematics, personal computers (Excel) and spreadsheets.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills are important.
  • Familiarity with warehouse and inventory management systems.
  • Accuracy and thoroughness required with great attention to detail.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$56,500.00 - $90,850.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
