THE JOB:
As the Inventory Control Supervisor at MGM Springfield, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timely issuance of daily and monthly inventory reports. Your responsibilities will include overseeing inventory processes, coordinating with team members to maintain precise records, and implementing best practices for inventory management to optimize efficiency and accuracy within the warehouse environment. Your leadership and attention to detail will be vital in supporting the overall operations of the show.
THE STARTING RATE: $23.00 per hour + $6.00 per day meal stipend
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Supervise and assure the daily and monthly reports generated by Inventory Control are accurate and issued on a timely basis
  • Review daily reports issued by Inventory Control
  • Assist in monitoring the budget and reconciling all assigned balance sheet accounts
  • Manage Human Resources responsibilities for Inventory Control to include creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company's diversity commitment; compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Maintain all files that pertain to the accuracy of reports that are issued by Inventory Control
  • Perform physical inventory in Warehouses
  • Assist with the completion of all month-end financial closing procedures and analysis related to COS

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
  • Able to lead and mentor a team (Supervisor and above with supervision authority)
  • General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
  • Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail and maintain filing system
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
  • Can work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Has high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Has 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience or accounting and/or finance related areas experience

Pay Rate
The rate for this role is:
$23.00
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
