We're looking for an Inventory Clerk/Central Store Attendant to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure our production and maintenance teams have the parts, supplies, and materials they need to keep our operations running efficiently. The hours for this role are 7am-3pm OR 8am-4pm, with a starting wage range of $17.75/hr.-$24.85/hr. based on previous skills and knowledge.
What You'll Do
As a Central Store Attendant, you'll be responsible for supporting inventory and storeroom operations while providing exceptional service to internal customers. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Accurately verify inventory counts for stock replenishment.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries within 24 hours, ensuring inventory is stocked and rotated appropriately.
  • Process supplier returns and returns to Central Stores.
  • Prepare, package, label, and ship transfers to the correct locations.
  • Label project materials and barcode inventory items using labeling equipment.
  • Issue parts, materials, and supplies based on customer requests and requisitions.
  • Coordinate repairs, source suppliers, and assist with cost comparisons.
  • Support internal customers with project requests and expedite materials as needed.
  • Train team members on inventory scanning and ordering processes.
  • Obtain quotes from approved suppliers and assist with cataloging inventory items.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe storeroom environment.
  • Complete all required safety, environmental, and Central Stores training.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and inventory control processes.

What You'll Bring:
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, storeroom, inventory control, parts counter, or related environment.
  • Knowledge of industrial parts, maintenance supplies, or warehouse operations.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Forklift and/or scissor lift certification, or willingness to obtain certification.

Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, and stacking of materials.
  • Ability to safely move throughout warehouse, production, and office environments.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and occasionally dusty conditions.
  • Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection and safety glasses, as required.
  • Safe handling of materials while following all environmental and safety guidelines.
