Job description

Inventory Control Clerk

Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour

Shift: Monday – Friday | 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Location: Four Oaks North Carolina 27524

Duration: 12+ Months

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Clerk to support manufacturing and quality operations by maintaining accurate inventory records of raw materials and finished goods. This role is responsible for inventory transactions, cycle counts, material movement tracking, ERP reporting, and inventory reconciliation activities.

Candidates with prior inventory experience in a manufacturing environment will be given preference.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing material transactions, including receiving, shipping, transfers, and inventory adjustments.
  • Generate inventory reports from the ERP system as required.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between system inventory and physical counts.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate inventory variances and assist with corrective actions.
  • Support manufacturing and quality teams with inventory-related activities.
  • Coordinate disposal of obsolete or unusable materials as directed by management.
  • Operate forklifts to move materials safely throughout the facility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 6 months of forklift experience required.
  • Previous inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong math and data entry skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English documentation.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred.
