The Breakfast General Manager will lead a large team of 16+ employees, overseeing all aspects of breakfast service within a hospitality setting. This role involves full responsibility for shift scheduling, inventory control, vendor relations, and budget management while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Reporting directly to the restaurant owner, the manager will work early morning and midday shifts and occasionally travel for vendor meetings. The focus is on delivering exceptional customer service and managing profit and loss effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage shift scheduling for a large team of 16+ employees
- Control inventory and minimize waste to optimize costs
- Ensure excellent customer service during breakfast operations
- Oversee budget management and financial reporting
- Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate occasional vendor meetings
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations
- Report directly to the restaurant owner on operational performance
- Work early morning and midday shifts to supervise breakfast service
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in restaurant management
- Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- ServeSafe and Liquor Certification
- Proven staff supervision experience
- Strong skills in inventory management and scheduling software
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of budgeting, food safety regulations, and health compliance
- Effective problem solving, leadership, and time management abilities
