The Inventory control quality assurance lead is responsible for ensuring all inventory is housed effective and efficiently, assures accurate counts of inventory levels at all time while overseeing the quality of packages leaving the facility. 

KEY RESULT AREA

  • Work directly with team members to resolve merchant concerns.
  • Play a pivotal role in understanding the root cause of inventory adjustments and participate in efforts to correct.
  • Vocalize concerns around inventory practices to Operations Manager, helping to identify areas of opportunity in day-to-day processes.
  • Resolve merchant-facing requests around inventory related issues.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies reported by Merchant support or Account Services.
  • Perform physical location checks to ensure quality and reconcile inventory variances.
  • Comprehension of cycle counts and inventory control processes according to written SOP's.
  • Perform physical inventory cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances.
  • Run cycle counting and inventory control processes according to written SOP's and in partnership with partner resources (eg. Shipbob, Account Services).
  • Ensure inventory variances are researched and resolved in a timely manner, allowing fulfillment of outbound orders.
  • Ensure timely communications to leadership team for any orders not able to be fulfilled due inventory discrepancies.
  • Communicate updates and relay important operational information about clients directly to Operations Manager, ICQA site rep, or B2B team.
  • Perform audits or other actions requested by merchants within the site.
  • May require travel to other locations as and when needed.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Requirements

 SKILLS

  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision on-site.
  • Demonstrates the ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions and solve problems in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to determine inventory discrepancies, perform physical inventory cycle counts, and reconcile inventory variances.
  • Possesses effective written and verbal communication skills; displays reading comprehension skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time without stress.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma (GED).
  • 2 years' experience in a warehouse setting.
  • 1 years' experience in a lead role (preferred).


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift to 50lbs.
  • Able to stand and walk continuously during and up to an 8-10hr shift.
  • Able to bend, stoop, reach above, and push/pull frequently.
