Job description

Eaton's Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Lead SIOP Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility. (Relocation is offered)
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.

What you'll do:
Position Overview:
The Lead SIOP Analyst is a strong contributor in EATON decision-making by providing structured data to support the SIOP, S&OE, and Planning BOM processes.This position's principal responsibility is to lead the SIOP and S&OE processes to drive alignment between Demand Planning, Master Scheduling, Planning, and Purchasing. The role will also drive standardization within Planning BOMs. This individual will also assist in driving improvements in existing reporting processes, tools, and procedures that will result in increased automation, improved data accuracy, data analysis, and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and drive the SIOP and S&OE processes.
  • Establish governance, standardization, and continuous improvement processes for Planning Bills of Material, or Planning BOMs, across product lines, including developing, implementing, training, and coaching.
  • Manage the data movement from SAP to Demand Solution tools.
  • Develop and generate standard monthly operations and quarterly executive-level reports from various data sources.
  • Drive accountability with key stakeholders.
  • Analyze and manipulate data using spreadsheets, pivot tables, MS Access, SQL, and other tools as required.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators.
  • Provide monthly reporting on SIOP planning and performance to management.
  • Obtain a working knowledge of the data sources required to support SIOP and S&OE.
  • Interact with both managers and peers to define data requirements to support and/or enhance the effectiveness of the group.
  • Extract required data, transform it to the desired format, and either create a report or move it into the required application.
  • Automate the distribution of reports and data sets to required individuals.
  • Support both periodic distribution and/or ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • Assume the lead role in the testing and implementation of reports and data sets.
  • Perform monthly and annual updates in SAP to maintain relevant settings.
  • Train users on the proper use of new and existing reports and tools.
  • Lead improvement projects to ensure that people in the Demand Management area have convenient access to data required to support informed business decisions.
  • Lead monthly review and resolution of excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Support annual physical inventory processes through inventory analysis, reconciliation, and reporting activities.

Qualifications:
Required / Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive supply chain experience, including SIOP/S&OE experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with MRP systems, SAP
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Pivot Tables and other data analysis tools
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with complex data analysis, reporting, and file transfers
  • Relocation benefits are being offered for this position. Candidates that currently reside or are willing to relocate within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of South Milwaukee, WI will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, IBF CPF, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
