What you will do:

  • Direct supervisory responsibilities are applicable.Acts as a functional leader. Responsible for disciplinary action of the team members

  • Responsible for the proper maintenance and usage of equipment and machinery

  • Trains employees in proper processes and sub-processes as notified by the management. Trains on specific tasks such as proper equipment usage, material handling and maintenance.Determines positions to be rotated and considered for training and encourages cross training between all team members.

  • Provides coaching and supervision. Reports the ongoing performance of team members; identifies superior performers with development potential and notifies the management of them.

  • See to the application of safety standards.

  • Ensures all team members achieve proper housekeeping within area of responsibility. Ensures area of responsibility is well maintained, productive and in compliance with the companies' policies and procedures.

  • Processing and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports; Analyzing inventory for branch

  • Developing processes and procedures for inventory control

  • Liaise with branches to resolve problems and collect data

  • Process vendor debits and customer credits

  • Enter data into computerized system.

  • Any other projects as required

What you will bring:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the distribution/warehouse field, ideally in a Plumbing/HVAC/R related field.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Applications, specifically intermediate Excel, Word and Outlook, previous experience on AS400 is an asset

  • Must be a self-starter with ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment

  • Highly organized prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and consistently meeting deadlines within a fast paced work environment

  • Possesses license(s) for the required material handling equipment (i.e. Forklift Operation Certificate) would be an asset.

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs. or more. Must be able to lift, bend and crouch.
