Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Material Coordinator Operations to our team.
Reporting to the Inventory Control Supervisor the Material Coordinator Operations will be responsible for collaboration with various departments to manage efficient flow of all material and responsible for various duties within the operations function such as material planning and distribution. Coordinate with departments to ensure efficient movement of all materials and evaluate all materials sent to production areas to ensure accountabilities for all materials
What a typical day looks like:
  • Investigate and support resolution of inventory discrepancies in partnership with the Inventory Control team.
  • Monitor and analyze WIP (Work in Process) inventory aging and identify excess material within production areas.
  • Coordinate the movement of materials, parts, and assemblies between warehouse and production departments.
  • Review production requirements and material availability to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
  • Maintain accurate material inventory records, location tracking, and production-related data.
  • Create, update, and analyze reports using Excel, BAAN, and other system tools.
  • Work cross-functionally with production, warehouse, and inventory teams to resolve material issues and improve inventory accuracy.

  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials according to production schedules and business priorities.
  • Support inventory control activities by researching discrepancies and identifying root causes.
  • Review material transactions and inventory records to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  • Monitor excess, obsolete, and aging inventory and drive corrective actions when necessary.
  • Analyze material shortages and communicate risks that may impact production schedules.
  • Assist with material planning, replenishment, and distribution activities across operational areas.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and material flow.
