Job description

Position Overview

Marathon TS is seeking a Tier 2 Endpoint Engineer with hands-on experience in the Microsoft Intune Portal and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) to support enterprise endpoint management operations.

This role will focus on modern device management, policy enforcement, patching, application deployment, and endpoint compliance across a distributed environment.

Core Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager Portal)

  • Configure and deploy:

    • Device compliance policies

    • Configuration profiles

    • Conditional Access policies

    • Application deployments

    • Windows Update for Business policies

  • Support Co-Management (Intune + MECM/SCCM) environments

  • Manage device enrollment (Autopilot preferred)

  • Troubleshoot MDM/MAM issues

  • Maintain patch compliance and reporting

  • Support Windows 10/11 enterprise endpoints

  • Serve as Tier 2 escalation from Service Desk

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years IT support / endpoint management experience

  • 2+ years hands-on Microsoft Intune administration

  • Experience navigating and configuring policies in the Intune Portal

  • Experience with:

    • MECM/SCCM (software deployment & patching)

    • Azure AD / Entra ID

    • Group Policy

    • Windows Update rings

  • Strong troubleshooting skills (device sync issues, enrollment failures, compliance conflicts)

  • PowerShell scripting (basic to intermediate)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with:

    • Windows Autopilot

    • Conditional Access policies

    • Endpoint security baselines

    • Defender for Endpoint

  • Experience in 1,000+ endpoint enterprise
