Job Summary and Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY  

The HCA Endpoint Systems Engineer - Cyber will be responsible for the addressing Cybersecurity and Audit responses for the Endpoint teams in FTR. The resource will partner with security, compliance, and IT teams to assess risk, remediate gaps, and maintain continuous audit readiness across Windows endpoints. Monitors control effectiveness, documents evidence, and drives improvements in response to emerging threats and audit findings.

The engineer will serve as a liaison between ITG, IPS and Audit teams as well as providing support for Endpoint issues.

The engineer will perform complex analysis to diagnose issues and provide solutions. Will also provide documentation for responses as well as new and existing technologies.

They will provide direct feedback as a partner to all ITG teams. Provides directional and tactical feedback to members in the department and oversees departmental efforts. Suggests department process and procedure improvements. Self-directed and motivated to learn modern technologies and leadership skills.

The engineer will possess advanced technical skills and interact with other ITG departments and contributes to the overall strategy for clients within the enterprise (ITSD, lTG, Information Security, Field IT support staff, Advanced Architecture, DTS community, System Administrator community). Writes and maintains documentation for support and training guides as needed. They will lead large project efforts that involve clients in the corporate space. Must have strong technical expertise in the following client OS platforms and technologies: Windows 10/11, Azure, Intune, SCCM, networking, VMware, and Citrix. Must have strong customer focus, be a team player, and display a positive attitude. Effective communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary. Strong problem-solving abilities and creative approaches.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Supports Intune, SCCM, and Azure Virtual Desktop solutions.

• Respond to audit findings, security incidents, and control exceptions related to endpoint management

• Track emerging threats and Intune platform changes, translating them into improved controls

• Troubleshoot Intune policies and profiles

• Maintain detailed control documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures

• Monitor endpoint security posture and investigate compliance drift or control failures

• Lead endpoint-focused audit activities, including evidence collection, documentation, and auditor walkthroughs

• Participates in activities which improve departmental and organizational performance.

• Interfaces directly with a wide variety of end users and technical counterparts in other divisions, facilities, and corporate roles.

• Adheres to and supports HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) IT&S standards, policies, and procedures.

• Maintains and protects confidentiality regarding all aspects of patient care.

• Adheres to Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.

• Provides monthly MOR metrics reporting to department manager.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree preferred

EXPERIENCE

5+ years of experience required

OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiar with common cybersecurity controls and frameworks.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Graph and Power BI.

• Robust knowledge of Microsoft Azure Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Azure Virtual Desktop.

• Experience creating well-written, re-usable PowerShell scripts with proper documentation and commenting.

• A good understanding of device and user-based certificates (SCEP and NDES).

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and without guidance as required.
