What is an intuitive?

In a workplace context, 'Intuitives' typically refers to individuals who rely on intuition, insight, and big-picture thinking when approaching problems and making decisions. These people are often able to quickly grasp abstract concepts, foresee potential outcomes, and innovate creative solutions. In personality frameworks like the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Intuitive types focus more on possibilities and future potential rather than concrete details. They are valuable in roles that require strategic planning, innovation, and foresight. However, Intuitives may sometimes overlook practical details, so balancing teams with both Intuitive and Sensing types can be beneficial.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an intuitive?

To thrive as an Intuitive (commonly referred to as an Intuitive Coach or Consultant), you need a strong foundation in interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence, and relevant training in coaching or counseling. Familiarity with client management systems, coaching methodologies, and, in some cases, certification from recognized coaching organizations are valuable. Active listening, empathy, and the ability to build rapport help Intuitives connect deeply with clients and foster trust. These skills and qualities are vital for guiding individuals through personal or professional challenges and achieving transformative outcomes.

What are some common challenges faced by Intuitive Surgical Sales Representatives, and how can they overcome them?
