Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr Manager – Employee Experience Communications will help advance and further integrate internal communications, employee events, employer brand, and talent communications into a more cohesive employee experience strategy. This role will support the continued evolution of the employee journey by strengthening alignment between workforce communications, organizational culture, and business priorities, while enhancing how our value proposition and employer brand are communicated across the employee lifecycle.
 
This role requires a communications professional who can blend strategic storytelling with strong digital and analytical capabilities. The position will help drive the ongoing enhancement of communication channels, technologies, data insights, automation, and emerging AI-enabled solutions. These capabilities will support more targeted, scalable, and measurable communication experiences while creating opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness across communication functions.

The base pay estimate for this role is $73,600-$125,100 annually. The final offer will depend on the skills, experience, and qualifications of the selected candidate. This range is for base pay only and does not include bonuses or other compensation. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. Bonuses are not guaranteed and are awarded based on company and individual performance.

Employee Brand & Talent Communications

  • Supports the development and activation of the organization's Employer Value Proposition (EVP).
  • Develops content thatshowcasesorganizational culture, employee stories, career opportunities, and workforce value propositions.
  • Ensures consistent employer brand messaging across recruiting, onboarding, and employee communications.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition to create recruiting communications and marketing materials that strengthen talent attraction efforts.
  • Collaborates with recruiting teams to support career fairs, recruitment campaigns, presentations, and talent marketing initiatives.

Employee Lifecycle Communications

  • Designs and executes communication strategies supporting key employee lifecycle stages.
  • Creates communication frameworks and resources that enhance employee understanding, connection, and engagement throughout their career journey.

Internal Communications

  • Develops and executes internal communication plans aligned with organizational priorities and strategic initiatives.
  • Produces employee communications across multiple channels, including email, intranet, digital signage, newsletters,podcasts,and leadership communications.
  • Translates complex information into clear, relevant, and engaging content for diverse employee audiences.

Employee Events & Engagement

  • Partnersoncommunication planning and execution for enterprise-wide town halls, employee meetings, leadership forums, and engagement events.
  • Develops event messaging, presentation materials,andcommunication campaigns.
  • Partners with stakeholders to ensure events reinforce organizational culture, business priorities, and employee connection.

Strategic Partnership & Measurement

  • Monitors communication effectiveness through engagement metrics, feedback, and employee insights.
  • Recommends opportunities to improve communication channels, employee experience, and organizational storytelling.
  • Maintains communication standards, templates, and best practices that support consistency across the organization.

Digital Communications, Technology & AI Enablement

  • Leverages communication technologies and digital platforms to improve employee engagement, information accessibility, and communication effectiveness.
  • Identifiesopportunities to automate and streamline communication processes whilemaintainingmessage quality and audience relevance.
  • Utilizes AI-enabled tools to support content creation, editing, audience segmentation, campaign planning, and communication analytics.
  • Uses data and analytics to measure communication performance and recommend continuous improvements.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or communications required.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in communication strategies, employee engagement initiatives, or employer brand programs within a complex organization.
  • Experience applying AI-powered tools and technologies in a professional environment to support communication planning, content development, workflow optimization, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally.
  • Familiarity with communication and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Teams, intranet platforms, email marketing systems, survey tools, and digital event technologies.
  • Experience using analytics and reporting tools to evaluate communication effectiveness, audience engagement, and campaign performance.
  • Strong understanding of emerging communication technologies, digital trends, and workplace innovation.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Superior project management skills with demonstrated ability to execute complex initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated creativity, sound judgment, and the ability to develop innovative communication solutions.
  • Self-motivated professional with a collaborative approach and the ability to build effective partnerships across all levels of the organization.
  • Requires up to 20% travel based on client and business needs.
