Job description

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3520
$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
Interventional Radiology Tech - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a rotating day off
• Weeknight and weekend call rotation approximately once every 3 weekdays and once every 3 weekends (Friday through Monday)
• May be asked to participate in Holiday Call
• 30-minute call response time required
• Work in a 7-room department including 4 Cath Lab/EP rooms and 3 IR/Vascular rooms with 20+ cases per day across all rooms
• Perform and assist with IR procedures including port placements, liver biopsies, IVC placements, G-tube placements, PICC and central line placements, and neuro cases such as coiling, thrombectomy, and embolizations
• Assist with vascular procedures including Fem-pops, AAA repair, carotids, EVAR, and angios
• Prepare procedure suites and ensure radiation safety setup
• Calibrate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Pull supplies, set up sterile table, scrub in and assist physicians with procedures including device exchange, guidewire manipulation, catheter placement, balloon and stent deployment
• Manage radiation dose and imaging angles
• Perform room cleaning, restocking, turnover, and sheath removals
• Hybrid role supporting vascular cases as needed
• EMR and equipment used: Merge, Cerner, and Siemens
• 2 years of interventional radiology experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• Facility-provided scrubs; personal scrub caps permitted

This acute care Level 2 Trauma facility operates a comprehensive interventional radiology and vascular department with 7 total procedure rooms. The department handles a high volume of cases daily across cardiology, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology and vascular specialties. The facility utilizes modern imaging and charting technology and maintains structured team staffing to support a wide range of complex procedures.
