Job Title: Cath Lab Tech

Must-Have:
- Experience scrubbing open vascular cases is a big bonus.
- Ability to scrub for the percutaneous portion; a surgical tech will be available if the case converts to open.
Description:
This position provides imaging and scrub coverage for the hybrid vascular room outside of normal scheduled hours.
Call begins at 16:00 and ends at 07:30 Monday through Friday, with 24-hour call on Saturday and Sunday.
The role supports three vascular surgeons performing various types of vascular surgical cases.
These include arterial, visceral, and venous interventions.
Procedures include AAA stent placement, peripheral interventions, and other related functions.
The technician will set up trays, operate the injector and table, and manage X-ray and imaging setups including DSA and radiation safety.
Responsibilities also include scrubbing and assisting the vascular surgeon with wires, catheters, balloons, stents, and other interventional and closure devices.
Average call-in or late cases occur twice per week.
Techs must be able to scrub, while RNs must be able to circulate.
Experience in inpatient and outpatient work settings is required.
Equipment documentation experience is necessary.
Skills in aseptic technique, central line insertion/management, and various surgical procedures including TEVAR and VATS are needed.
Travel experience is required.
Weekend call is required, with management of 7 days per month on-call duty, varying with at least 1 weekend per month.
Permanent licenses must be in hand for submission; temporary licenses are not accepted.
