Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drives truck to deliver glass sheets or cases to customer's place of business.
  • Listens to and resolves service complaints.
  • Collects checks from some customers when required.
  • Records sales and/or delivery information daily on a sales or delivery record.
  • Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected merchandise.
  • Loads truck and secures products to avoid damages.
  • Obtains customer signature on receipt for delivery.
  • Cleans inside of truck.
  • Performs daily inspections on trucks.
  • Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, fragile products, and safety equipment are in good working condition.
  • Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting.
  • Maintain logs of working hours following applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Drives truck to deliver glass sheets or cases to costumer's place of business.
  • Collects checks from some costumers.
  • Records sales and/or delivery information daily on a sales or delivery record.

  • Follow Supervisors Instructions and assist as necessary.


Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License CDL Class A.
  • Experience: 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Start time- 4:00am, 5:00am or 6:00am
  • Driver may need to sleep in trucks 1 or 2 nights per week.
  • Physically able to lift 70 pounds or more.
