Location: Surprise, Arizona

Break ground with your career at Interstate Assembly Systems in Surprise, Arizona. We're looking for a Fuel & Lube Truck Assembler Technician to join our growing team. In this hands-on, fast-paced environment, you'll play a key role in assembling everything from standard stock units to highly customized specialty vehicles designed to meet unique customer requirements-where efficiency, quality, and teamwork drive our success.

Interstate Assembly Systems is a leading manufacturer of quality service vehicles, commercial power generation equipment, and leading distributor of high-performance diesel and gas engines for many applications and industries.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday - Friday
  • Temperature Controlled shop

Shift: 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM

  • Part Time position available Morning or Afternoon

Overtime: Yes

What you will do:

  • Installation of PTO systems in various chassis makes and models.
  • Installation of hydraulic power units, fittings and hoses, cranes.
  • Installation of pneumatic systems including compressors, air tanks, regulators, dryers and associated plumbing.
  • Wire and install 12 volt truck lights and 12 volt and 120 volt work lights.
  • Occasional troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

What we need from you:

  • General knowledge of PTO drives.
  • General knowledge of hydraulics and lubrication reels and pumps.
  • General knowledge of hydraulic hose manufacturing.
  • 12 volt DC and 120 volt AC experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams, and be able to hand draw corrections as needed.
  • Welding and fabrication is a plus.
  • Valid drivers license and be insurable.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent attendance and ability to work overtime.
  • Strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure.
