Haitian Creole Interpreter (On-Site)

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana


BridgeVoice Interpreters is seeking a qualified Haitian Creole interpreter for an upcoming on-site healthcare interpretation assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana.


This initial assignment is expected to last approximately two hours, with the potential for ongoing work based on client demand and interpreter performance.


Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete, and impartial interpretation between Haitian Creole and English.
  • Maintain professional standards of ethics and confidentiality.
  • Arrive on time and prepared for the scheduled appointment.
  • Facilitate effective communication between healthcare providers and patients.
  • Represent BridgeVoice Interpreters professionally during all client interactions.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Haitian Creole and English.
  • Prior healthcare interpreting experience required.
  • Professional interpreter training and/or certification preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to Fort Wayne, Indiana.
