Reporting into the DVP of Engineering, the Director partners closely with Product Management, Systems Engineering, Validation & Verification, Cybersecurity, and Quality to translate business strategy into highimpact software outcomes. This is an opportunity to lead missioncritical platforms that serve as the backbone for nurse call, enterprise reporting, interoperability, and emerging SaaS and cloudbased solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Establish and evolve DevOps and CI/CD practices, including automation, deployment tooling, and release governance to support reliability, scalability, and future SaaS/cloud offerings.
  • Develop and mentor engineering leaders and senior talent through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and career and technical leadership development.
  • Support interoperability and integration strategy by ensuring enterprise software aligns with standardsbased healthcare interfaces, reporting, and internal/external system integrations.
  • Promote effective communication and customer engagement, enabling engineering teams to support customerfacing discussions and critical escalations as needed.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise software engineering, including leadership of multiple teams or engineering managers.
  • Demonstrated success delivering regulated products in medical, safetycritical, or industrial environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of Quality System Regulations (QSR) with proven partnership and collaboration with Quality Assurance and Validation & Verification (V&V) teams.
  • Experience with modern product development practices, including Agile and Lean methodologies, test automation, and DevOps / CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver a portfolio of concurrent software initiatives with predictable execution, quality, and release outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success improving estimation accuracy, planning rigor, and execution discipline across distributed or matrixed engineering teams.
  • Experience contributing to business and technology strategy and translating strategy into actionable, executable software plans.
  • Experience managing departmental budgets, capacity planning, and resource allocation in a complex engineering organization.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior crossfunctional leaders and external partners.
