Job description

Supply Chain Intern

Barton & Gray is seeking an intern to join our dynamic Supply Chain team for the Summer of 2026! The Supply Chain Intern will primarily deliver provisions to our locations in CT, MA, RI, NYC and Long Island in a company provided vehicle. This internship will also assist in maintaining the inventory and supply of necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all provisions, assisting the department with inventory maintenance and record keeping. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on supply chain experience in the luxury yachting industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver inventory to markets as needed
  • Coordinate the shipping of materials to remote locations
  • Assist with the execution of inventory audits and storage unit reviews
  • Receiving, unpacking and shelving of inventory, box breakdown and proper disposal
  • Maintain clean and organized workspace and contribute to the cleaning of the warehouse
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Valid and unencumbered Drivers License
  • Ability to legally purchase and transport alcohol in CT, RI, MA, and NY
  • Basic understanding of inventory policies and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient keyboarding skills
  • Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Strong problem solving
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Ability to navigate warehouse environment reaching items high and low
  • Ability to stand or sit for periods of time up to four hours with minimal rest periods
  • Proficiency with Mac and Windows applications preferred

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
