This role will manage projects throughout Virginia, supporting clients that require large-scale in-building communication systems for environments such as universities, municipalities, sports venues, healthcare facilities, and other large public or commercial properties.

The Project Manager will oversee projects from the construction and installation phase through system integration and final delivery. While the sales and engineering teams handle business development and solution design, this role assumes ownership of projects following the internal handoff and serves as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and external customers.

This position is approximately 75% office-based and 25% field-based, with a combination of on-site, office, and remote work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks for project teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Develop project schedules, establish deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project status, quality, and workmanship.
  • Identify project risks and provide solutions to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Track project activities against established schedules and milestones.
  • Prepare project reports and status updates for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal resources, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear communication with internal and external partners.
  • Oversee project budgets, financial forecasting, invoicing, and revenue tracking.
  • Manage project escalations and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Support process improvements that increase project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of project management methodologies and PMBOK best practices.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of project management experience within the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience managing project schedules, milestones, reporting, and successful project delivery.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a technology-focused B2B environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and project tracking capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with In-Building Wireless Solutions (IBW), DAS, or iDAS projects.
  • PMP certification or active pursuit of PMP certification.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Public safety communications systems
    • Cellular infrastructure
    • Military communications
    • Civil infrastructure construction
  • Understanding of two-way radio, microwave, cellular infrastructure, and wireless communication systems.
  • Familiarity with public safety organizations, including police, fire, and emergency medical services.
  • Previous hands-on experience as a technician or engineer.
Top Skills
  1. 3+ years of project management experience in telecommunications, preferably supporting wireless, DAS, or iDAS projects.
  2. Strong experience tracking project milestones, schedules, deliverables, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination abilities.

Primary Focus: The majority of the project lifecycle managed in this role will be from construction through integration.

Why Join Us?
  • Long-term contract-to-hire opportunity with significant growth potential.
  • Opportunity to support high-profile, large-scale wireless infrastructure projects.
  • Immediate career advancement opportunities within a rapidly expanding business unit.
  • Collaborative team environment focused on service, growth, teamwork, and innovation.
Work Environment

This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment consisting of:
