Job Description

Position: Sr. Web Developer (PHP, MVC, LAMP, CMS, REST, Spring)

Duration: 6 months+

Location: NYC, NY

Visa Status: US Citizens Only

 

Required Skills:

Experience in content publishing, developing and integrating content management applications.
Experience in different content rendering technologies, web syndication, and understanding of wikis and blogs
Deep experience in web content integration with leading Content Management System (CMS) products
Concept and create wireframes, graphical templates, and other graphical elements for various web based projects
Ensure site design integrity and quality control consistency throughout a projects lifecycle
Design cutting-edge websites and web based applications
Experience in working on various content migration projects
Experience in building content management workflows and also implementing security
At least 5 years of working experience working web application framework such as spring, java based web application frameworks
At least 3 years' experience in HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, JavaScript, AJAX
At least 2 years' experience in developing web services and REST services
Strong Object-Oriented analysis and design skills including requirements analysis, Object Oriented design patterns, and UML;
Experience working JUNIT, Maven, Subversion, Oracle, SQL Server, and Websphere 6.x
Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and produce high quality products;
Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics and arrive at sound analysis and judgment.

Critical Skills:
CMS integration, JAVA, Spring Framework, PHP, HTML, Web Service, REST services, Hibernate, JUNIT, Maven

Preferred Skills:
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science
