Job description

The Systems Administrator will support the Information Technology Department in daily operations by developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting technological systems within Concord Hospitality's corporate office. Additionally, this role will assist the Senior Director of Network Administration with corporate and field server maintenance, backups, workstation patching, and other infrastructure-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with administration of Concord's cloud-based applications and systems.
  • Manage, monitor, and support field and corporate servers and infrastructure.
  • Fully support and maintain the Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA) systems.
  • Assist with setup, deployment, synchronization, and decommissioning of corporate and remote locations, assets, and integrated systems.
  • Monitor and maintain backups for servers and workstations via cloud backup platforms.
  • Ensure backup systems function correctly, protect user data, test recovery procedures, and perform data restoration upon request.
  • Monitor and maintain antivirus platforms and assist in delegating/remediating virus threats.
  • Monitor and assist with Vulnerability Management and Remediation
  • Test, deploy, and report on workstation and server patching for central office and remote locations.
  • Troubleshoot technological system or platform-related issues.
  • Perform scheduled server and hardware maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Participate in weekly security meetings and support security initiatives.
  • Develop reporting, dashboards, and KPIs for various IT platforms.
  • Maintain and support Concord's technical support team and corporate staff.
  • Innovate, improve, and streamline work processes to enhance position value and promote a self-motivated, results-driven approach.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in systems administration, network operations, or related IT roles.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Extensive experience with server and network infrastructure management.
  • Proficient with RMM and PSA tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based backup solutions and disaster recovery best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of antivirus platforms and security threat remediation.
  • Skilled in patch management for workstations and servers.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create reports, dashboards, and KPIs for IT monitoring and performance measurement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Commitment to upholding IT security policies and procedures.
  • Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a continuous improvement mindset.
