Contributes to incident response activities, identity and access management processes, and the implementation of security technologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performs information security tasks and activities in alignment with established policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
2. Reviews system activity, access data, and security alerts to identify irregularities, patterns, and potential risks.
3. Conducts routine vulnerability scans and participates in testing activities, documenting results and tracking identified issues.
4. Monitors system access and security tools to identify potential security events, investigate and document findings.
5. Evaluates security events within defined scope, determines likely cause based on available data, and escalates more complex issues.
6. Carries out identity and access management activities, including access reviews and validation of user permissions against established controls.
7. Works with internal teams to gather information, review system behavior, and help identify control gaps or areas for improvement.
8. Applies security tools and technologies to maintain system protection and support ongoing operations.
9. Follows security policies, standards, and procedures to analyze systems and ensure compliance with requirements.
10. Maintains documentation of system activity, analysis performed, issues identified, and steps taken to support operational consistency.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:
