Key Responsibilities 

We will partner with you to shape your internship experience around the areas of HR you're most excited about. 

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support onboarding activities such as preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities, events, and training sessions.
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries or direct them to appropriate HR staff.
  • Assist with benefits administration tasks, such as enrollment tracking and documentation.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, including research and process improvement efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations in assigned tasks.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving HR processes.

Requirements


Education / Certificates / Licenses / Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Junior or Senior standing preferred.
  • Previous internship, coursework, or projects related to HR is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with administrative tasks or customer service is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Comfortable collaborating in a team environment, as well as working as an individual.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion and integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
