Internship Transfer Pricing positions are typically entry-level, designed for students or recent graduates to gain industry experience. Transfer Pricing Analysts are full-time professionals responsible for analyzing and developing transfer pricing strategies. While internships focus on learning and support tasks, analysts handle complex projects and client interactions. Both roles require knowledge of transfer pricing principles, but the level of responsibility and experience differs significantly.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Internship Transfer Pricing professional, and why are they important?

To thrive in an Internship Transfer Pricing role, a solid background in economics, finance, or accounting, often supported by ongoing university studies, is essential. Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, and exposure to transfer pricing software or ERP systems, is typically required. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills help interns interpret regulations and collaborate with teams. These skills ensure accurate compliance with tax laws and add value to client engagements in a global business environment.

What are internship transfer pricing roles?

Internship transfer pricing roles involve assisting companies in determining the prices for goods, services, or intellectual property exchanged between related entities within a multinational corporation. Interns in this field typically support the preparation of transfer pricing documentation, conduct market and financial analysis, and ensure compliance with international tax regulations. These roles provide valuable experience in understanding global business operations, tax law, and financial analysis, making them a strong starting point for a career in tax, finance, or consulting.

What are the typical responsibilities of an intern in Transfer Pricing, and how do they support the broader tax team?

As a Transfer Pricing intern, your main responsibilities will include assisting with data collection, conducting benchmarking studies, and preparing documentation to support intercompany transactions. You’ll collaborate closely with tax professionals, economists, and sometimes legal teams to ensure compliance with local and international transfer pricing regulations. Interns often help draft reports, analyze financial data, and research relevant tax laws, providing valuable support on client projects. This experience offers a great opportunity to learn about complex international tax issues and develop both technical and analytical skills while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

  • Work alongside experienced manufacturing and business leaders
  • Develop highly transferable skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination
  • Clear, structured environment with training and support in place

What Success Looks Like

  • You’re comfortable working in large Excel datasets without feeling overwhelmed
  • You take pride in getting the details right
  • You stay organized and keep things moving, even when deadlines stack up

Additional Details

  • Full-time, onsite role in Eldridge, IA
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Interested?

If you enjoy working with data, thrive in structured environments, and want to build strong analytical skills, we’d love to connect. Apply today or call our team at 563-359-3995!

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP – required)
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and moving pieces
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • Clear communication skills and comfort working across teams

Ideal Backgrounds include 2–3+ years in:
