Position Summary/Details:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Business Planning team. This role is ideal for someone who is a quick learner, highly analytical, and enjoys working collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Accountabilities:

Learning & Exposure Opportunities

This role offers hands-on exposure to key finance and business operations, including:

  • Financial systems and reporting tools
  • Month-end close processes
  • Business planning and forecasting activities
  • Day-to-day expense planning and monitoring

Key Responsibilities

  • Support financial reporting and data analysis
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and assist with reporting and presentations
  • Assist in preparing journal entries and maintaining financial records
  • Contribute to budgeting and expense tracking activities
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the team

Working Conditions Combination of Plant/Field and Office environment.  Must be willing and able to work in dusty, hot, and noisy environments.

Preferred Availability: Full-time (40 hours) or Part - Time (30 - 40 hours)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  

The successful applicant should be enrolled in an accredited university as a college undergraduate or a graduate level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline.

Co-Op Requirements:

To qualify as a co-op student, enrollment in the university's co-op program (proof of enrollment required); if not eligible for co-op program (or program unavailable), the student will be considered an intern.

Required Degree: Finance, Accounting or Business

Year in School: Junior or Senior, or Graduate Level Student

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
