Over the course of 10-12 weeks, a Poultry Production Intern, you'll work in our Mount Olive food manufacturing plant, located in Mount Olive, North Carolina. You’ll dive into daily plant operations, tackle industry challenges, and contribute to process improvements.

The program’s primary objective is to grow future leaders by providing professional development and a series of assignments that aligns with professional interest within the processing and manufacturing industry.

Develop your leadership skills by guiding and mentoring our first-line employees.

You'll need to be a team player, ready to roll up your sleeves and get things done. Think you have what it takes to make a delicious difference?

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Agri-Business, Animal Science, Food Science, Meat Science, Ag Leadership, or a related field with an expected graduation date of December 2026 through June 2027.
  • Have a valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
  • Open to relocating to Mount Olive, North Carolina if not in the area.
  • Demonstrated participation in extracurricular activity 
  • Demonstrated involvement on-campus
  • Previous work experience of any kind preferred
