Role Overview:
  1. Proactively supporting producers, growing and maintaining client relationships by providing high-level advice and excellent service.
  2. Leading and managing a team of account managers.
  3. Being analytical, detail-oriented, reliable, and forward-thinking with the ability to connect the dots.
  4. Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, deep coverage and market knowledge, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  5. Participating in high-performance team meetings.
  6. Managing binders, policies, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
  7. Ensuring surplus lines compliance.
  8. Contributing to client retention through excellent service and follow-through.
  9. Building and maintaining market relationships through marketing activities before and after renewals.
  10. Preparing written correspondence, reports, and analysis as needed, and documenting all communication in AMS360.
  11. Assisting the accounting department with clients' aged receivables and account reconciliation.
  12. Delivering professional in-person presentations to clients, analyzing their insurance programs and risk management needs.

This role is about understanding risk, making decisions, and communicating those decisions clearly
Technical Expectation
  1. Solid foundation in commercial lines insurance and account management
  2. Preferably holds a CPCU, CIC, ARM or other
  3. Preferably a business degree (finance, accounting, economics, statistics, etc.) from an accredited college
  4. Ability to evaluate coverage and identify
  5. Comfortably advising clients directly
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  7. Able to think through scenarios and connect information quickly
  8. Comfortable working with current systems and learning new tools as needed
