Tombras, a 450+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking a Studio Design Intern.
You'll be joining one of the top independent agencies in North America. What to expect as a Studio Design Intern at Tombras:
Commitment to a 9 week, paid internship, $18 an hour starting on 06/16/26 and ending on 08/14/26 with a maximum of 25 hours per week.
What you'll be doing:
  • You'll create and coordinate the production of final artwork, including; vector art manipulation and creative layouts. The coordination of this end-to-end process should result in the studio building files accurately according to creative intent and vendor specifications. This is an opportunity to work on high visibility clients and work alongside world-class Project Managers, Designers, and Creative Directors.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency around the project requirements, scope, and deliverables
  • Ensure smooth movement of files and deliverables through the Studio Production team, with respect to deadlines, quality and accuracy
  • Coordinate all art elements from various sources, which would include Art Director's files, artwork from re-touchers, illustrators, copy from writers and printing specifications from Print Production and outside vendors
  • Build digital art files from all art elements including Art director's files and printing specifications
  • Prepare and check files for accuracy and correct file formats before submitting to team members.
  • Continually meet and communicate with team members throughout a project to make additional changes and to receive new elements as the project progresses

What you bring:
  • Candidates should have prior work or life experience in a relevant field, be currently enrolled as a Senior in a relevant program, or a recent graduate with a degree in Design, Graphic Arts or similar field (a degree is not required)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G-Suite in a Mac environment
  • Must be highly detail-oriented in work and communication
  • Ability to maintain timelines, priorities and organize work
  • Positive attitude and ability to work and succeed in a team environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently
