Job description

Uproar by Moburst is the dedicated PR division of Moburst, an award-winning, global digital marketing company that helps industry leaders and hyper-growth brands dominate their categories. Recognized on the prestigious PRNEWS Agency Elite 120 list as one of the top public relations and communications firms nationwide, Uproar by Moburst blends bold media strategy with data-driven creative execution to amplify brands, shape conversations, and make headlines that matter.
As part of the global Moburst family, we partner with world-class clients across B2B, tech, and consumer sectors to build long-term credibility and drive high-impact visibility. From category-defining startups to global enterprises, we give our clients the attention they deserve - and we bring that same commitment to developing the next generation of PR leaders.
Our Intern Program:
Uproar by Moburst is seeking bright, curious, and driven undergraduate students (junior or senior level) for our fully remote Fall Internship Program. Designed for ambitious students who want to build a solid, real-world foundation for a successful career in public relations, this program provides direct exposure to the fast-paced agency world.
Interns typically work 12 to 20 hours a week (for course credit if desired) and are fully integrated into our PR teams. You won't just observe; you'll gain hands-on experience working side-by-side with seasoned pros on active B2B, tech, and consumer accounts.
Key responsibilities and learning opportunities include:
  • Media Research & List Building: Developing targeted, comprehensive press lists for top-tier national, local, and trade media using industry-leading research tools.
  • Content Creation & Pitching: Drafting compelling media materials, including press releases, tailored pitches, thought leadership content, and media advisories.
  • Earned Media Strategy: Assisting with the execution of strategic media relations campaigns to help secure high-impact placements.
  • Client & Team Integration: Attending client calls and PR department staff meetings to see agency operations, strategy development, and account management up close.
  • Special Projects: Supporting special event planning, media tracking, and agency brainstorming sessions as client needs evolve.

Qualifications:
We are looking for self-starters who are eager to absorb the fundamental skills needed to thrive in modern PR:
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university undergraduate degree program in Public Relations or Advertising/PR (junior or senior standing).
  • A GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Strong research skills with a keen eye for detail and media trends.
  • Strong understanding of AP Style writing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical capabilities.

Expectations:
At the conclusion of the program, interns will synthesize the hands-on skills, media strategy, and industry knowledge acquired throughout the semester into a comprehensive PR campaign, which you will present agency-wide to the Uproar by Moburst team.
If you think that's the perfect internship for you, apply now and join us!
