Position Summary
As a Dedicated Security Officer, you will provide a visible security presence while helping create a safe, welcoming environment for residents, guests, vendors, and property staff.
This position focuses on observation, reporting, customer service, and proactive foot patrols. Officers are expected to maintain a professional presence, identify potential concerns before they become problems, and provide peace of mind through exceptional service.
Important: We do not use physical force against anyone. Our officers rely on communication, professionalism, de-escalation, and customer service skills to gain compliance whenever possible.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols throughout the property
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations
  • Monitor courtyards, parking areas, common areas, pools, offices, and other high-value areas
  • Respond to resident concerns, disturbances, emergencies, and requests for assistance
  • Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry attempts
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports using company mobile technology
  • Maintain a professional and visible presence throughout the property
  • Communicate effectively with residents, guests, management, and emergency responders
  • Protect client property through proactive observation and reporting
  • Assist with emergency response procedures as necessary
  • Immediately report incidents, hazards, maintenance concerns, and property damage
  • Safeguard company equipment including radios, keys, access cards, and electronic devices
  • Follow all site-specific post orders and client instructions

Qualifications
Required
  • Current California BSIS Guard Card
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug testing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to complete required training modules within the first month of employment

  • Previous security experience
  • Residential community, hospitality, customer service, or public-facing experience
  • Experience writing incident reports and daily activity reports

Position Summary:
A Signal Dedicated Officer will conduct static security services for courtyards, offices, pools, and other high value areas to ensure all required access points are properly secured and to ensure protection of property and residents with a high degree of attentiveness to details and safety. All duties listed below are minimum requirements - additional duties listed in the site's Post Orders are requirements as well.

Responsibilities:
  • Will conduct and deliver various dedicated services that reflect the company's values, expectations, and consistent service in alignment with site specific instructions/post orders.
  • Will write detailed and accurate reports utilizing company technology and web or app-based software during each shift that align with site instruction/post orders.
  • The Ability to consistently arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, meet time commitments, follow instruction, follow dress code and appearance standards and expectations
  • Interacting with internal and external customers on site cultivating a customer service relationship while striving to provide peace of mind.
  • Consistently communicates with the Advanced Dedicated Officer or the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to promptly report any customer or property related information and concerns.
  • Responsible for the care of any Signal equipment assigned during shift including radios, access keys/cards, vehicles, and devices, etc.
  • Consistently deescalate issues through communication in a professional and prompt manner.
  • Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor such as reporting standards and service quality.
  • Communicate with the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to receive and disseminate information through Branch Supervisor Daily Scrum, such as the client needs and post order changes to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.
