Securiport LLC is a US company based in Reston, VA, that specializes in the design and implementation of passenger biometric recognition, immigration processing, and intelligent information reporting and management systems based on advanced technological solutions. Securiport provides a complete immigration processing solution and analytics to maintain border security. Services include technical analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of Securiports software solutions, training, and technical support to the field operations.

Securiport LLC iscurrently seeking an experienced Technical Graphic Designer and Motion Designer whose primary responsibility is accurate execution, production excellence, and brand-system compliance. This role is ideal for a designer who excels at turning approved concepts, standards, and specifications into precise, scalable, and compliant visual assets across digital, print, signage, and large-format environments.


The successful candidate will ensure that all materials meet technical requirements, brand guidelines, and regulatory standards. Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.

Essential Job Functions

Technical Design Execution

  • Produce drafts design of communication materials including but not limited to brochures, logos, signs, books, web pages, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials; and make revisions based on the feedback received.
  • Convert approved layouts, wireframes, and brand templates into final production-ready assets.
  • Draft advertising layouts and text for company brochures and related material for review and approval.
  • Ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines, typography systems, spacing rules, color codes (RGB, CMYK, Pantone), and accessibility standards.
  • Produce pixel-accurate and dimension-accurate designs for print, digital, and physical environments.
  • Prepare deliverables to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
  • Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Perform retouching and manipulation of images, UI design process, sketches, mockups, presentation, prototypes, design validation, sound, and text into consolidated and seamless multimedia production.
  • Ability to create graphics, animations, videos, and other visual elements using client brands/style guidelines.
  • Manage visual assets, including brand assets, photography, and raw video footage.
  • Investigate postproduction design to ensure brand accuracy is adhered to.
  • Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.


Video & Animation Production

  • Execute static and animated assets strictly from approved storyboards, scripts, and templates.
  • Produce short-form motion graphics, UI animations, and informational videos without altering messaging or narrative.
  • Apply consistent typography, timing, transitions, and branding across all motion outputs.


Create and adapt animations for:

  • Digital screens and LED displays.
  • Airport and border-control solutions.
  • Social and web distribution.
  • Educational and informational content.
  • Ensure correct frame rates, aspect ratios, resolutions, codecs, and compression for each deployment environment.
  • Optimize animations for performance, clarity, and legibility in high-traffic public spaces.


Production & File Management

  • Prepare files for print, fabrication, and digital deployment (PDF/X, EPS, AI, SVG, PNG, JPG, MP4, etc.).
  • Manage bleed, trim, resolution, color profiles, die lines, and material constraints.
  • Coordinate technical specifications with printers, fabricators, signage vendors, and digital integrators.
  • Maintain organized file structures, version control, and asset libraries.
  • Export assets in required formats (MP4, MOV, GIF, Lottie/JSON, SVG animation).
  • Maintain strict version control across static and motion deliverables.
  • Coordinate technical delivery requirements with vendors, IT teams, and integrators.


Signage, Wayfinding & Environmental Graphics

  • Design and adapt assets for large-format signage, floor decals, wall graphics, digital screens, kiosks, and wayfinding systems.
  • Apply precise measurements and scale for airport, border, and high-traffic public environments.
  • Ensure visibility, legibility, contrast ratios, and durability standards are met.


Compliance & Standards Alignment

  • Ensure all materials comply with internal brand governance, communication protocols, and international standards where applicable.
  • Execute updates and revisions quickly based on feedback.
  • Maintain consistency across multilingual materials without altering approved messaging.
  • Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.


Template & System Development

  • Build and/or maintain existing templates for presentations, signage, social media, reports, and marketing collateral.
  • Standardize design systems to reduce errors, rework, and production time.
  • Support scale by enabling non-design teams to use approved templates correctly.


Other

  • Assist with management of social media accounts and remain current on trends and strategies.
  • Support the marketing and communication department.
  • Remain current with standard design technologies and trends.
  • Proofread to ensure high quality and accurate work.
  • Understand print production and liaise with printers to produce materials; prepare final press-ready files based on supplies specifications to printers and ensure quality production.
  • Tailor graphic concepts while adhering to company standards and brand compliance.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Design & Production Tools

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of print production workflows and digital export standards.
  • Experience preparing files for large-format print, signage, and fabrication.
  • Working knowledge of Figma or similar tools for layout handoff and versioning.


Technical Competencies

  • Color management (CMYK, RGB, Pantone, ICC profiles).
  • Resolution, scaling, bleed, trim, and finishing requirements.
  • Typography systems and multilingual layout handling.
  • Accessibility basics (contrast, readability, hierarchy).
  • 47+ years in production-focused graphic design.
  • Experience working with corporate, government, or aviation preferred.
  • Proven ability to execute within strict brand and compliance frameworks.
  • Able to handle quick turnaround time and multiple projects at the same time.
  • Demonstrated reliability in high-volume, deadline-driven production environments.
